Privacy
This describes exactly what this build actually does — not an aspirational policy.
No account, no personal information
This app does not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, date of birth, home address, student ID, district ID, profile photo, or any social account. Your identity in this app is an anonymous, randomly generated callsign (like “Vector27”) created on your device.
Where your data lives
Everything you save — your callsign, vocabulary words, lesson progress, quiz attempts, and saved teacher questions — is stored only in this browser's localStorage, on this device. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser's site data, using a different browser, or using a different device will not show your saved progress, because there is currently no backend this build syncs to. This is a real, disclosed limitation, not a hidden one — see the completion report for what a full cross-device sync feature would need.
No tracking, no advertising
This build includes no advertising SDKs, no behavioral tracking pixels, no cross-site fingerprinting, and no data-broker integrations. It does not sell any information, because it does not collect any identifying information to sell.
Voice input
If you use a browser's built-in speech recognition (where your device supports it), audio is processed by your browser/operating system to produce text and is not separately recorded, stored, or used by this app for any purpose beyond filling in the text you spoke.
Photo and file input
Where a workspace supports uploading an image (like a worksheet or a METAR photo), the file is used only to display or process what you asked for in that moment. This build does not build a persistent image library of anything you upload.
Offline knowledge bank, not a cloud AI
Explícamelo answers from a curated, offline content bank bundled with this app. This build does not send your questions to a third-party AI service — so there is no external request to worry about for that feature. (This also means it can only answer what's in the bank — see Explícamelo's honest “not in the offline bank yet” message when nothing matches.)
For teachers
The Teacher Dashboard is explicit about which sections work today (things stored on your own device) versus which would require a real shared backend to show real, live, multi-student data. Nothing on that page is populated with invented sample data presented as real.
